The world, we live in, is not as simple as it might seem to be. It is full of unexplained mysteries that raise several questions that remain to be answered till date. There are many such mysterious which find no satisfactory explanation in science. Let us look at some of the greatest unsolved mysteries that continue to astound the world.
Throughout the ages, man has always been eager to explain the happenings in the sky. Unidentified Flying Objects (U.F.O.) pose a great mystery to the present scientists. Some American scientists have categorically negated the phenomenon. But some do agree. They explain U.F.O. as objects from other distant galaxy. Yet no unanimous decision has been reached. The mystery of U.F.O. continues to be elusive and intriguing.
ADAMS' UFO
The image that i am about to present is the most famous UFO known as the AdamsUFO. Mt. Adams' a "Hotbed" For Daily UFO Sightings.
Mt. Adams has become a hotbed for UFO believers. They claim to witness UFOs there night after night. Off the southwestern flank of Mt. Adams lies a religious retreat called Sattva Sanctuary.
It's home to a group of people who believe that their photos prove that aliens have chosen them as earthly contacts. Through meditation the group's flicker of enlightenment turned to skyward sightings.
Some of the witnesses
- "We usually see them early afternoons towards up to 3 in the morning," one UFO believer, James Gilliland said.
-
- "I saw a golden globe against a blue sky," Carolyn Gray said.
-
- "You can see a white energy mist around James, and he calls this a pre-contact energy," UFO investigator Spar Giedeman said.
-
- Recently Giedeman snapped perhaps their most convincing set of photos.
-
- "He says I'm really getting hit hard, why don't you shoot to the left of me, and I did, and you can see this saucer shaped metallic object right here," Giedeman said.
-
- The group also has video tape of their UFOs.
-
- "All of a sudden --boom, he went out and another appeared going back the other way," Gilliland said.
Why do UFOs come to Earth?
Curiosity
One of the many reasons put forward as to why we are being visited is that it is just a simple case of curiosity. In a similar way as the first explorers of our planet discovered new lands and new civilisations (e.g. the Incas, Mayans and Indians), alien lifeforms who stumble across us in their exploration of space may find us an intriguing and interesting species in our own right.
This would tend to explain why there has been so many sightings of various types of craft. Alien races, once they had learned of our existence, would want to come and observe us in a similar way that other civilisations on Earth were observed.
However, this simple curiosity theory does not explain some of the more 'disturbing' aspects of Alien encounters such as abduction experiments and mutilations. This problem can however be catered for by the fact that we are probably being visited by more than one race of alien civilisation, each having their own agenda.
Also, once an alien civilisation had discovered us maybe various groups within that civilisation started visiting us. A group of alien scientists would obviously have a different agenda to a group of alien 'tourists' or even alien 'joyriders'.
Minerals
Another popular theory put forward is that the Earth may well contain certain minerals which are not present on the alien planet. There has been some evidence of this in various reports and claims of 'underground' alien bases and sightings of craft seemingly taking samples of earth, planet and even other lifeforms.
However I feel that this is probably the weakest of all the theories as surely we would notice any great reduction in any of our more common minerals. However it may be the case that the aliens only require very sample amounts of a particular substance for their purposes.
To warn and protect
One strong theme to of emerged from many of the abduction and contactee tales is one kindness and protection. Many abduction victims claim to have been shown mental images of the destruction of Earth through neglect and war. These images have been remarkably similar across a broad spectrum of abduction victims each basically confirming the same images of death and destruction.
The early contactee claims of the 1950's also had a similar theme to them. Many contactees claim to have been shown similar mental 'films' and to of been warned that if the people of earth do not change their ways then the earth will slowly destroy itself.
At first many of these claims seem strange if not absurd, however it must be remembered that the modern UFO era occurred very shortly after the first atomic bombs had been detonated around the mid 1940. Now this may or may not be 'proof' but it is certainly then a strange coincidence.
Another fact worth remembering is that several of the famous sighting cases have occurred around nuclear installations, (Roswell was the worlds first nuclear bomber Air Force Base), and seems to indicate that the aliens are demonstrating that they could if desired 'take-out' the nuclear arsenal of both East and West.
Genetic Manipulation
One of the more recent theories is that the aliens are using the human race to conduct some form of genetic experiment. This has come about fairly recently due to the connection between animal mutilations and UFO's.
Many abduction victims claim that they were subjected to strange experiments including the removal of semen from men and eggs from women. Some women even claim that they have been impregnated only to have the foetus removed shortly after conception.
Various reasons have been put forward for these experiments. They range from the theory that the alien civilisation is dying and needs our genetic material to continue to survive to the fact that they a crossbreeding humans and aliens to make a new race. Indeed several abduction victims claim to of encountered strange 'human-like' children whilst on board the alien craft.
Another theory for this genetic experiment is that the aliens are changing themselves so that they can live on earth. The alien lifeforms as they stand might not be able to survive on our planet for to long due to atmosphere differences and our diseases.
This theory certainly seems very plausible when you take into account the abduction stories, animal mutilations and experiments. Several of the early contactees also claim that the aliens 'were adapting themselves' so that they could 'coexist' with humans.
Invasion
The last theory that I will put forward for now is that of the 'invasion' theory. Now this theory was put together by early contactee claims. However, over the years the theory has become less widely accepted.
The main reasoning against this theory is that any civilisation that can traverse space and time should be able to invade a civilisation that has been flying for less that 100 years. Also if the invasion theory is correct then surely we would have been
invaded many years ago and I would not be
writing this.
Supporters of the invasion have recently started using the Genetic theory to explain why have not yet been invaded. They claim that the aliens can not exist as they are at present without some genetic modification, and hence the abduction, mutilation and experiments.
This could be plausible but again with all the abduction cases there has been very little 'evil' intent from the aliens. Only in one or two cases has any invasion overtones been mentioned.
UFO's In Earth's History
The Historical Record of Planet Earth speaks of ongoing contact with extraterrestrials as found in oral traditions, tablets, stone monuments, petroglyphs, and art forms found throughout the planet. In Kiev
Strange suited figure found in Kiev. It dates to ca. 4,000 BC.
In United States - Native Americans
Petroglyphs dating back thousands of years ago by ancient Indians in the American Southwest. According to Indian folklore, two objects collided high in the sky and one crash-landed in the region of Death Valley. Some men arrived (presumably in another ship) and spent some time repairing the damaged craft and were observed by the local Indians. The two images below may possibly depict the ship (left) used by the men who came to repair the damaged craft. In comparing the two images, the one on the right seems to depict structural damage around the edges and the bottom.
In France
In France there was a coin minted in 1680 that shows a hovering disc shaped UFO with what appears to be port holes or lights around the outer rim. Due to the fact that a coin was minted depicting this UFO.
In Egypt
In Egypt there exists a star clock for the Precession of the Equinoxes and an electric light bulb that dates to 2600 BC. An electric battery was discovered in a rock carbon dated approximately 500,000 years ago.
"The Baptism of Christ"
A disk shaped object is shining beams of light down on John the Baptist and Jesus - Fitzwilliam Musuem, Cambridge, England - Painted in 1710 by Flemish artist Aert De Gelder. It depicts a classic, hovering, silvery, saucer shaped UFO shining beams of light down on John the Baptist and Jesus. What could have inspired the artist to combine these two subjects?

UFOs have interested me ever since I realized that such things apparently existed. Here are a few facts on the subject, all of which are worth reading for one reason or another. I make no effort to "endorse" any of the theories espoused by the individual authors other than the commentary in my reviews.
I think a true understanding of the UFO issue can only come about by wading into it. The following titles reflect the UFO "scene" pretty accurately when taken as a whole: abductions, UFO crashes, time travel, alien colonization of Earth, crop circles, etc. Whether any of these phenomena are "real" or related to one another is immaterial from the standpoint of a reader wishing to get a grasp of the subject in general.
It was only a matter of time before a hidden object game was based on the mystery surrounding the Bermuda triangle - and the good news is that Lost Secrets: Bermuda Triangle does a good job of bleding an interesting story, memorable characters and hidden object gameplay.
On this seafaring adventure, we meet the daring Rachel Broadview, who discovers her great grandmother’s name in a book about shipwrecks in the Bermuda Triangle. So she sets out to uncover secrets buried there, and of course how it relates to her ancestor’s involvement. Will Rachel reap the rewards of her curiosity or is she tempting fate? We won’t give anything away here, but the story is one of the game’s more impressive features.
The hidden object game takes the player through locations related to the story, such as ships, beaches, piers, a church and many underwater environments. If you’ve played these games in the past then you’ll pick up on your task quickly: you’ll see a list of a dozen or so well-hidden items to find in a busy scene. In most cases, these items, which are listed along the right-hand side of the screen, are irrelevant to the environment, such as finding a frying pan or telephone at the bottom of the ocean or a crayon on a ship; sometimes when you click on an item, though, it will be part of the story such as a note with a phone number or it, tin doubloons or a captain’s sextant.
There isn’t a time limit in which to solve these hidden object challenges per level, but if you click incorrectly too many times it temporarily depletes you’re Hint button so you can’t ask for help if you need it. Speaking of hints, instead of most hidden object games that simply tell you where a well-hidden object is, Lost Secrets: Bermuda Triangle turns your blue cursor into orange the closer you get to the hidden item.
Some of the items were confusing, such as two teapots in the scene but only one is correct and a flying fish that looked like an airplane. It’s frustrating to incorrectly click on an item you think is the right one, but it doesn’t happen too often. Also, if you were asked to find a “kokopelli,” would you know what to look for? Apparently, it’s a fertility deity depicted as a humpbacked flute player. Another beef is when you revisit the same area, more than half of the items were on your list before and they’re in the same place so it can be easy to pick those off by memory the second time around.
After every level are a few lines of dialogue between Rachel and other key characters, so those who want to soak up the story can read at leisure while less patient players can simply click to bypass and get to the next level. Every so often players will play a mini-game tied to the story, such as solving a Match-3 game to clean some gunk off a lockbox or a maze-like underwater submarine challenge where you must pick up treasure on your way to the exit. Some mini-games repeat themselves (though they get tougher), but overall they serve as a nice break to the main hidden object game-play.
Visually speaking, the game offers attractive graphics in both the game-play and during the narrative sequences, plus the mysterious music is fitting and the watery sound effects work well, too.
There isn’t much to complain about after playing Lost Secrets: Bermuda Triangle but it’s not the kind of game that blows you away either. Plus, with only one mode the game doesn’t offer the kind of replayability some might hope for. That said, it’s a good hidden object game with a great story and nice presentation. At the very least, hidden object fans should download and play the 60-minute free trial to see if they want to come onboard with this adventure
After the UFO's were seen in the past then there was WFO.World UFO Day ;is a day in which individuals and groups are encouraged to gather together to watch the skies for Unidentified Flying Objects. World UFO Day was first celebrated in 2001.
June 24th was selected as World UFO Day because the first UFO report that was widely reported took place on June 24th 1947. This UFO sighting was reported by Kenneth Arnold. He reported spotting nine unusual objects flying in a chain near Mount Rainier on that day.
An alternative date for World UFO Day is July 2nd, to commemorate the date of the supposed UFO crash in the 1947 Roswell UFO Incident.
